The evolution from mindlessness to discovery – someone told me (though I have not verified it) that the Maharal of Prague (one of the greatest Jewish masters) wrote that the evolution of mankind is in fact the evolution of the mind – in the beginning, man was convinced that what he saw is reality – even his gods were pantheistic (lightning, thunder etc.) as both science and Jewish mysticism were revealed (for the truth they hold were always almost self-evident, just concealed) we now know three things – 1. in absolute fact everything is just the will of God (physical matter literally doesn’t exist – not only is it all space, with the actual size of the universe being no smaller than a seed, it is constantly popping in and out of existence! – to be fair, Kabbalah attributes this seed to God, hence though it certainly isn’t what we see, it nonetheless is) 2. if everything isn’t – then the reason we perceive it, is because our brain inputs information from sensors that are built to perceive tiny spectrums (as we know the visual light is nano-meters, the thinest of slivers in a vast array of electro-magnetic spectrum, spanning kilometers) Now as this is what the brain perceives, this seems to be the sum total of reality, 3. and this is where amazingly science (quantum physics) has caught up to Kabbalah: by tuning into a higher frequency (and conversely the reverse) we manifest – in other words, it is not that we are the subject of creation rather, based on our tuning, if we have faith or we have fear, if we have love or hate we produce
