The entire goal of creation

The last years of the Rebbes teachings, including of course being a major theme sporadically taught throughout Chassidus, boils down to the entire goal of creation, namely, to understand, God isn’t infinite, for we see infinity to be beyond the finite – God is infinitely capable – the difference being as follows – if both infinite light and finite darkness are creations of God, then the same God who separated the two can and is merging them; so in essence what it means is, the current messianic revelation is, wherein God himself – because he can and wants to – is descending through the infinite gap between man and God, uniting individually, slowly but surely, with everyone!
