The easy and perhaps only (because ostensibly everyone is for justice, not really desirous of murder, antisemitism etc. etc.; even Hitler and tyrants were always standing up “for” a just cause – truly in their own minds! being unaware of their subconscious jealous malicious intent) is simply to ask oneself – the person who is talking to me, “is he disparaging?” – for when our motive is love, there can be no thought of disparaging; and conversely, when we are disparaging, there is no love, but jealous hate.
