The easiest guide to psychology

Our minds are like a screen
Now what pops up on a screen must come from somewhere.
If a person never actively consciously chose a thought, their screen would still be flooded with images.
These images stem from desires.
The following are all human desires:
We have a desire for unity and peace.
We have a desire to be superior and certainly not inferior.
We have desire for that which feels pleasurable (say tasty food) and certainly not for that which feels painful (say a disgusting rotten piece of meat).
1. We have a desire for unity and peace:
When our mind shows us loving images, it is usually because we desire to love, so we can have unity and peace.
2. We have a desire to be superior and certainly not inferior.
When our mind shows us images of our grandeur, it is almost invariably as a result of feeling (perhaps from being made to feel) inferior.
3. We have a desire for that which feels pleasurable (say tasty food) and certainly not for that which feels painful (say a disgusting rotten piece of meat.)
Well this one, is the most common state of mind; which is why we see almost all that goes on, for if our self-esteem is intact (so we don’t have the problem of 2.) we innately are producing loves: images of that which we think will be pleasurable to us (they say men daydream most about vacation) or fear: resulting in the desire for security (to alleviate the anxious negative feeling of fear) (they say women daydream most about marriage.)
This is obviously a very brief guide, but the ultimate state, is to understand, that what our mind shows us, is invariably not our choosing; it is simply an emotion placing an image or words, trying to resolve either through attaining or distancing oneself, from it.
The thing is this (minus 1. and 2.) is exactly how all animals also live!
To reach the ability of a human, we need to choose what it is WORTH THINKING ABOUT!
