The Divine Plan

Once upon a time I had a dream:
As my nature is selfless love – unconditional identification – compassion and a desire to help others – I decided to create you!
But for you to be you, I had to hide me!
For a little light loses its very existence, identity, being, if an infinite light is present.
So to do so, I created a false reality – a universe that like clockwork, the sun comes up and the moon rises, the tides flow, birds chirp, a complete fiction: time, space, people, animals, vegetation and inanimate beings, in which a person’s first, hence primary reality, would be this dark space devoid of light.
And in it you were born.
Now the truth is, you and I are really one and the same – for you have my heart, that unconditional love, sensitivity, compassion I told you about – but the darkness in which you are born (somewhat of necessity) expresses not our love, it is a rat-race and often a dog eat dog world in which desperate people unaware of their souls, try to fulfill all of their instinctual whims or even worse, jealous ambitions.
But my plan is simple enough, for I know that the flame in your heart, your soul! will seek the truth.
And here my true destiny for humanity begins to unfurl.
For when you realize, that the darkness is darkness and you begin to seek light, it is then that I begin interacting, communicating, enlightening you!
First comes the revelation – “there is a God!” – the darkness of the aimlessness, of the existential loneliness, fades.
In this great overwhelming realization, all becomes one.
Yet ultimately that is just the honeymoon phase – of great love, but not your true potential!
For your true potential is not to know me, but to become me!
For this, you must lose that euphoric feeling – you must be plunged back into the chaos, back into the darkness, but with the memory of the light.
As the example given, first a toddler is given training wheels and he can ride free as a bird, without a care – but then those training wheels come off and he falls, bruises, scrapes, maybe even breaks a bone but eventually he learns how to pedal, and now his freedom is not a facade, created by another, it is his Own Hard Work – as we only enjoy what we earn – that causes his pleasure.
