The dimension of truth

In a book (the Tanya) which the author was only concerned with truth (as Chassidim say, that had he made it more user-friendly he would have gained another 50,000 followers, but his belief was “only truth is everlasting” which is true) he says something remarkable about truth
truth, is well, relative
for example, if a child shares a candy, that is truly a good deed, for relative to his world, he has sacrificed, just as if an adult shares his money
the bottom line is this: if truth is relative, you may never judge anyone but yourself – for you are only aware of your reality, your struggle, your next best step
