The difference between the pre-messianic era when we need to rely on the Torah (Bible) for guidance and the post-messianic era when G-d will communicate directly to each of us what he wants, as it states "No man will teach another for all will know (receive communication directly from) me;" is like the difference between a boss giving you one set of instructions when you start your job for your lifetime and a boss who takes the time, attention, love and patience to give you continual updates on how you are doing, the next move etc. etc.
