The difference between love and unity – the former is a biological desire/reaction and far from creating long term unity (as is evidenced by the generation who extolled love as the primary "unity" motivator) it being fundementally self-orientated eventually either fizzles or seeks dominance whereas unity is a Divine commandant hence like a trustworthy clock only engenders steadily increasing feelings of love
