The difference between a Nazi and a Jew

A Nazi was kicking a Rabbi as the Rabbi was forced to lie on the ground – so do you still feel like the chosen people? he sneered – Yes said the Rabbi, as long as you’re doing the kicking!

Rabbi Mangel – I heard this from him – was a young boy in the holocaust and he wondered why did Hitler give him moldy bread – if Hitler wanted to give him bread, why not give him regular bread, as the Nazis deliberately waited for the bread to become moldy before they served it!

The answer is, of course, that hate is jealousy and jealousy is not against the Jewish body but against the soul – the bully seeks not to kill but to destroy, to lower the self image of the Jew, thereby, temporarily alleviating their low self esteem.

But, Rabbi Mangel said, many years later, I realized, that actually God did us a favor – you see, penicillin is made from mold, so the mold we had to eat gave us the immunity to diseases, as most prisoners, despite the insane conditions never got sick.
