The delusion called ego

I have come to realize, we are all delusional

As Freud says, the difference between illusions and delusions

You see, an illusion is a hope

A delusion is a belief which isn’t real

Are we the supreme beings we think we are?

You see, we develop an identity at around the age of two which is why two year olds throw tantrums, for they are incensed about not getting their way

Why is the little diaper clad child incensed?

If you think about it logically, wouldn’t it make more sense for him to be humble?

Shouldn’t he be constantly thanking his parents, as opposed to expecting things from them?

Here is the delusion of ego

We sense, that the reality we are born into is our entitlement!

We are entitled to nothing, everything good that comes our way, is simply God’s loving kindness.
