The definition of life, is learning how to live

By zevi770 · February 5, 2014

Life contrary to common thinking is not a destination, there is no goal, certainly, no egoistical narcissistic one of fame (which is also what fortune is, a desire for, namely, fame.)

I once asked my wonderful daughter, what is the point of life? she replied living!

How to live, is the question?

The answer is, with a couple of components.

1. We must make our lives meaningful; now even in meaning, it is not about a destination; say convincing everyone to follow God; it too is a process; so living meaningfully, is setting a goal, which transforms how you live; again, it’s not a destination, rather, the destination, serves how you live.

Practically, to live meaningfully, you must have a Mashpia, Chassidic spiritual mentor whom you ask (at least weekly) what the next step in your meaning of life must be!

2. Have no fear – this comes through trusting that the almighty is supervising for your benefit everything in the world!
