The day the Rebbe went wi-fi

By zevi770 · February 28, 2014

Traditionally humanity’s connection to God was through prophets – as the Rambam elucidated in his thirteen principles of faith, it is a principle that God communicates to prophets – our entire understanding of Judaism came through prophetic revelation; of course, Mosses being the king of all prophets, whose relationships with God was deepest, hence transmitting the very fabric of Judaism, the Torah and all subsequent interpretations consistent with the Torah – are said to be in some mechanism already hinted to within the Torah itself.

But this is not the limitation of God.

To see the world as limited to indirect communication with God, is to of course limit God himself.

Is anything stopping God from communicating to you!

I know it sounds bizarre, but firstly the Rambam, already predicted this, as one of the fundamental ideas of the messianic age that all Jews – that each and every one, similar to how it states during the exodus from Egypt, even a Jewish maid, saw more revelations than the greatest of Jewish prophets (excluding Mosses and later Rebbes, but it speaks specifically about Yechezkal ben Buzi, one of our greatest prophets) the Jews in the desert heard God face to face, and all of that, is but a foretaste to our relationship with God in the messianic age.

In other words, as the moon disappears as it gets closer to the sun and is reborn with an infinitely renewed light, so to today – the day when the Rebbe had a stroke and seemed to have been taken from us, as all speech, the Rebbe’s main verbal articulation and communication, including written messages ceased; hence seeming to have plunged humanity into a deep darkness, in fact is just making way for a new wifi connection.

Never before have more people felt the Rebbe speaking to them.

In fact, since that difficult day, a renewed light has entered and that is, the hundreds of millions of people are discovering God without prophets, without communication from men of God, but from their own.

Now nothing can happen on its own – and this is certainly no exception – when we, having traversed the sea of inane notions, traversed the insane or at least fruitless philosophies, discover God, the God of the Bible, truth, Jewish mysticism, this was a plan.

But there are two mechanisms how people can talk to each other, the old fashioned way of needing to physically be next to the person and the new-fashioned way of telecommunication, where in the air, lies wavelengths which can transport signals, resulting in instant communication.

Similarly the “departure” of the Rebbe was an intent by God to change the frequency – today, whomever desires a wifi connection, gets it!
