The Correct Approach

For two thousand years the world lived in darkness then Abraham shined in a new light – it is not a dog eat dog world – there is a God and we must do goodness and kindness – yet here we are, four thousand years later and we are still waiting for the messiah – where did Abraham go wrong? – well the truth is, the way God runs the would is the Messiah, it is called the right approach.
The bottom line is, The Rebbe will be the messiah (without going into all the proofs, as we have already done) and the Rebbe – the messiah – had the right approach.
To have the Messiah physically come, we humans must also gave the right approach.
A story tells it best:
Once upon a time lived a great rabbi, Akivah was his name.
He believed the most important fundamental commandment was “love your friends as you love yourself.”
Year after year for close to two thousand years we remember how God struck down all but 5 of his disciples for though they obviously followed their masters teachings they had the wrong, the wrong approach.
You see, they forgot to respect one another.
So how can it be, those who loved one another, didn’t respect one another – wouldn’t that be a contradiction?
And yet are we also not guilty of disrespecting those we love.
So we then must ask ourselves, is our love really as we love ourselves?hence, just as we would never desire for another to shame us simalerly we would never consider shaming another? or is our love just the ramifications of the fact we are social creatures and when it’s in our instinctual benefit we hate as we have loved.
