The closer I get to a bit of understanding, the more I realize, as G-d will say when Mashiach comes (from the Midrash,) "Everything I did, I did for you."You see, we would like G-d to provide not only our needs, our wants, but the ultimate truth is that the very fact that we exist is a miracle, and the ultimate existence is not obviously in what we can have physically, for as we know, all constant pleasure ceases to give pleasure, but rather in integrating G-d within our own consciousness, hence mind and heart and actions.
