The Bottom Lines From A Mammer of The Rebbe (Jewish Mystical Talk.)

The Bottom Line
- The Medrash Teaches: Why does God say “Make for me a Mikdosh and I will dwell in them?” (plural) for the true home for God is in everyone’s heart.
- When the Jews blow the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah, God removes himself from the throne of judging, to the throne of compassion.
- Every year the world – when the Jews blow the Shofar – receives a contractual obligation from God, to sustain until the next year.
- The reason we use a simple physical object to draw down this Divine contract – namely God’s sustaining the world for a year through blowing a horn – is: to draw down an energy from its loftiest heights to its lowest depths, one must use an object tied to the physical realm.
- The higher something is, like the greater one’s understanding of a subject, is the lower it can descend (so those who truly understand something can explain it even to a child.)
- That which is truly beyond, has the only real capacity to truly descend.
- It is us, for which everything else was fashioned.
- The reason God desired to create: for seeing the infinite pleasure our good deeds would give him…
