The bottom line truth is, that we are simply emotional creatures, and though we are often unaware of our emotions and only aware of our thoughts, but our thoughts are products of our emotions, hence by witnessing our trend, we can see the genesis (the precursor that creates our thought) when we are in the mood of unity with people, it’s because we have our naturel love for people intact; when we are not, its invariably because we’ve developed – usually through harsh criticism – more on that soon – a fear of people – now like a mosquito who you are afraid will bite you, hence you not only fear it, you also hate it! for the feeling of fear itself, is annoying; so you are annoyed and angry that someone or something is making you feel afraid – hence, invariably people who are afraid of people, becomes malicious towards people, hence the all-encompassing teaching of the Baal Shem Tov, Fear no-one, nor anything but God, and love everyone with all your heart and soul!
