The biggest mistake religious Jews make

The biggest mistake religious Jews make, is they see their religion as a globular communal obligation.
In other words, one can look at Judaism in one of two ways: a. That God commanded Jews to behave in a specific manner, which is how most Jews (religious) see their religion; b. that God commanded me to behave in a specific manner.
The difference is very profound!
In the first instance, Judaism is really impersonal – you are following a creed given to your community, but not necessarily personal, nor relevant to you.
In the second instance, Judaism is personal – God thought about you when he wrote the Torah, as our sages state, the Torah was written for the Jewish souls!
