The Big Picture – and how you can be happy

 

 

Once upon a time I walked into a building in foreign country where I couldn’t understand their language and customs – lying on a table was a man screaming, withering and obviously in agony – another four people were standing over him and they then took a saw and cut off his leg – only later I realized that I had traveled back in time and this man had asked a doctor to cut his gangried leg, which would have killed him.

 

We are that patient, the world is the operating room, and God is the doctor.
