The best example of who we are is, of course, from our Creator who says “man is like a tree in the field.” The world is like a big field, and each and every person is a tree. We are nurtured by our roots, our faith, which is why people without faith, unfortunately, have no anchor – the roots literally nourish the tree and hold it. But the body of the tree, our essence is always expanding, through time – as time teaches us, day-by-day, moment by moment, new lessons. But the greatest part of us is not who we are, it’s the fruit, it’s the branches that provide the shade and warmth and sweetness to others.
