The Beggining Middle and End

By zevi770 · February 21, 2016

Every one of the Torah portions has a unique message.

Parshas Ki Sisah fundamentally encompasses the entire structure of reality.

Generally speaking, God created all things in a sequence of begging, middle and end – the beginning is the purpose and higher intent, the middle is the actual reality which leads to, and culminates in the fulfillment of the purpose and higher intent.

Generally these three stages are encapsulated in Torah, Creation and Moshiach – Torah is the higher intent and purpose of creation – creation itself and our Divine service therein then brings the fulfillment of Torah in the messianic age.

This is indicated in the three Hebrew letters of alef beis gimmel – alef represents the word anoichi, the first of the Ten-Commandments which represents Torah; beis, represents the first word of creation, bereishis; and gimmel, represents the work for redemption, geulah.

More particularly these are three stages in creation: in the beginning was the Divine will for creation, then came the creation which culminated in the messianic era!

In the lingo of Kabbalah and Chassidus, first there was only the Divine, then there was the black hole (our universe) which must be filled with light, and then there is the messianic era in which the Divine light, till the Divine Being, becomes manifest.
