The bad and good news!

We think we think, the truth is our thoughts are based on desires, which is why, when we are in love we can only see beauty – as the statement, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder – however, when we are God-forbid angry/hate, we can only see evil (justifying maliciousness, revenge etc. etc.) The good news is, unlike animals, we can create and manage our emotions, through choosing to see what’s beautiful and understanding, that when we see what is wrong, it is not the other person who is, but as the Baal Shem Tov teaches, the evil we see in another, is a mirror image of our own!
