Thank God I just got an extraordinary clarity about the somewhat bizarre statement of God’s: See I place before you life and death – the blessing and the curse – choose life! we can understand why you can get blessed from listening to God but what does it mean God has placed before us death?? I believe there are two channels of consequences – if you connect to the channel of God, Torah and Mitzvahs, then you have chosen life – and if we God forbid connect to the stupidity of the common society – as all of history has shown, we have chosen to effectively self-destruct
