TANYA IN A Nutshell!

The Tanya is comprised of three books
“How To Forgive”
“How To Understand God Is The Only Reality In The Universe”
And “How To Become A Benoinie”
In a Nutshell:
“How To Forgive” – repent, resolve, and express sorry (this is between man and God.)
“How To Understand God Is The Only Reality In The Universe”
- Understand there was a time when time, space, and all that exists within the universe; people plants, animals rocks, didn’t exist!
- Hence, existence is no different from God’s speech / imagination!
- Jut as when you imagine (or speak) it ceases to exist, if you stop imagining (or speaking!) so to, this world needs God’s CONSTANT speech / imagining, every detail for it to exist.
- If God is thus the truth of existence (it is only his imagination, which we don’t perceive, rather experience!) then all is in reality God.
“How To Become A Benoinie”
There are five categories in which all people fall into:
1. A Completely Good Person
2. An Incomplete Good Person
3. A Benoinie
4. A Good Person With Wickedness
5. A Completely Wicked Person (albeit with goodness on a soul level.)
1. A Completely Good Person
Only one or two people in a generation manage to vanquish any vestige of lusts for the pleasures of this world and remain only with their positive heartfelt love for God and humanity!
2. Thousands of people in a generation attain the level of having vanquished some (but not all) of their lusts for the vanities of this world, in favor of their positive heartfelt love for God and humanity.
3. The Benoinie is the level a man should aspire to, for it allows him his lusts, but explains, that the goal is to generate enough positive heartfelt love for God and humanity that in actual thought (when you become conscious of your thought!) in actual speech and in actual activity, you only act kindly, in accordance with the advice of God in the Torah/Bible!
4. A good person with wickedness is the category 4 person in which almost 99% of humanity fits into, for though we are good, we desire to only have positive heartfelt love of God and humanity, nonetheless our instincts are very strong! and we have yet to gain the self-discipline, in order that in actual thought (when you become conscious of your thought!) in actual speech, and in actual activity, we only act kindly in accordance with the advice of God in the Torah/Bible!
5. A completely wicked person (albeit with goodness on a soul level) is a person who in the exact contradistinction to the completely good person; his or her anger, revenge, malice, has overpowered his positive instinctual heartfelt love for God and humanity, and this is where remorseless psychopathic murderers (Nazis for example) come from.
