In chapter 12 the Alter Rebbe describes the apex of human achievement namely the Benoini.
The Benoini is a normal person with extraordinary convictions.
In other words, it’s not that he has no physical lusts, rather his convictions are strong enough that in actual thoughts, speech and deeds he overcomes the animal and his Divine soul prevails.
