Someone queried, How can it only be Judaism that teaches us what we should be doing?

I replied: You see what we should be doing is a very very complicated question – firstly, all semi normal religions counting billions of good people, looking to do good or God’s will are imitations of Judaism as you probably know, at the same time we are assaulted by ego, by instincts, so the only mechanism that can get us to be good but the good shouldn’t create ego – which is a very complex mechanism for the ego loves having pride and when we fell egotistical we lose our hearts – love and compassion – is Judaism, but particularly Jewish mysticism – succinctly, it is the belief, we are never perfect, but always need to do more goodness and kinndess, and self growth!
