Some people don’t realize that all the Jewish laws share a common trait – man should be joyous – but when mans joy exceeds his rationality e.g. a drunk or high person – that is when he is most destructive, and so by having a set of rules YOU DON’T COMPREHEND! you contain your pride within a circle of rationality!
