So we know that we have 3 auxiliary operating systems: one is top down, the other is down up; beginning with down up we have love which is a desire for something or for someone, or we have fear which is a desire against something or against someone – note this is a major Discovery, because we always see fear as a preventative state but in actual fact if we were safe we have nothing to fear, so when were afraid it’s an active state, in which we are trying to eliminate the source of our fear and therefore similar to hate which in fact is always connected to fear because you wouldn’t hate that what you don’t fear, you then go against the thing that you fear – and this is why bullying and evil is so pernicious, because what it does, is it creates within us the desire to destroy; now from the top down, one understands that both love and fear are selfish, just like every animal, it’s simply "what’s in it for me…" and by understanding that we can go beyond self and allow truth, God, goodness to become Who We Are
