So some more crazy Muslims have taken hostages in a Sydney Café – what exactly do they want? – there is no doubt, that they, as almost all terrorists attacks, do not expect to come out alive – so why are they doing what they are doing? – it’s actually fairly simple to call them crazy, but to call people crazy is to deny accountability; so I prefer to analyze, comprehend, understand and judge – the truth is, what we in the west fail to comprehend, is succinctly summed up in a recent line I read from a Swede commenting on Islamic protests or shall we say terrorism again host countries (if they hate the west so much you would imagine they would choose to live in their free middle eastern countries : ) ) but he said “we consider them Swedes, they consider us enemies” – bingo – it wasn’t so long ago, a Swede would have considered an Islamic person or perhaps even a Jew as an enemy, almost every European country either had a holy war against Muslims, against a different Christen sect, and certainly against Jews – so what changed? – Democracy – a new spirit that people have the right to freedom engulfed the western world – BUT IT DIDN’T, NOT AT ALL! ENGULF THE EASTERN WORLD so to paraphrase the Swede who is spot on “We consider them friends but they (in what game theory calls the zero sum game perspective in life “me or you” not “us”) consider us a blight, a cancer; they see us as their shame; for it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize we are more prosperous, have better, freer, safer (x 1000) countries, and as they think it’s not “us” (for all people think others think about them, as they think about others;) To them, even if they die, they die a heroes death, for imagine a bunch of tigers, who believing that lions were superior to them, but being helpless due to the lions superior strength, seething with internal shame, hence jealous, hence rage, a few youngsters “for the cause” give their lives for the pride – albeit temporally – of the tiger clan – Wasn’t this the cause of all holy or wars in general?!
