Regarding Shavous our sages teach, that we must rejoice (with food and drink.)

The entire idea of Shavous is the merging of the infinite into the finite (God into man.)
MOSHIACH
The complete revelation of God within man will be when Moshiach comes.

As Shavous is the Yor Tziet of Dovid Hamelech, hence we are approved for Moshiach!

Shavous is also the Yor Tzeit of the Baal Shem Tov, who is also connected to the complete and total redemption.
SHAVOUS
Shavous is also connected to Moshe Rabeinu, who though begins the process of Torah, enables the final redemption.
MIYAD
These three names have an acronym of Miyad – “immediately” – in others words, their redemption occurs immediately.
MOSHIACH
When Moshiach comes, we will offer many sacrifices of thanksgiving.
INFINITE SPACE
And the main thing: we will continue our celebration not only in the Beis Hamikdosh, but in the Holy of Holies (as is known, all the Jewish people can fit into this 10x 10 infinite space.)
