Sensitivity

By zevi770 · May 5, 2013

We are naturally sensitive, sensitive is good; it is the ability to feel, in fact neuro-surgeons have done a lot of research that children are born highly compassionate, but seem to lose it – as always, science is completed by Jewish mysticism, for in Jewish mysticism we learn, that fear knocks out love, for you cannot be in the state of fear and in the state of love, two opposing tendencies at the same time, so the way I see it, what happens is, a person’s sensitivity, God-forbid gets wiped out by their insecurity; which is why in countries where people are secure – mainly emotionally, for example, America, that respects the individual and his rights; hence people don’t believe they have the right to shame and abuse others, as is very common in third world countries etc. – hence, the natural compassion and sensitivity toward others, remains!
