We must live with the daily Chitas!

Yerushalayim was not given to any tribe as it belongs to everyone.

Why did the beginning of the destruction of the Holy Temple begin on the 17 th of Taamuz which has the gematriah of Tov / good? Everything from God is only for the good – but good is relative, so we can only appreciate our reality if we first tasted misery.

The idea of transformation of darkness to light is that within us is the entire universe, as we know (like DNA) the macro is found in the micro, hence when we, like a sacrifice give our life solely for God, then this transforms the entire universe.

Yerushalayim symbolizes our soul and the most important part of Yerushalayim is the Holy Temple and the most important part of the Holy Temple is the Holy of Holies, and the most important part of the Holy of Holies, is the Holy A, and the most important part of the Holy Ark is the Ten Commandments, and from there God’s voice spoke – Similarly within our soul is the Holy Temple, the Holy of Holies, the Holy Ark, and the Ten Commandments which represents the eternal direction / voice – to the extent of becoming one.

The true intent of the three weeks, as every Jewish descent, is only for the subsequent ascent – to the extent of the complete redemption!

Hence we wonder why not just bring the redemption?! – The answer is, that God desires that it should be the will and devotion of the Jewish people that brings the Moshiach, hence the only purpose of darkness is that we should seek hence create – light.

One can ask, what is the benefit that a Jew adds light, if in the first place God can cause no darkness?! (which is merely the absence of the existing light/truth). The answer is, the truest expression of light is only when we bring it to the very darkness (for otherwise it is a question, how does this light behave.)
Every Jew receives the ability to do what his Rebbe can – hence we must take a powerful resolution to dedicate ourselves to bring light to every corner, even the darkest.

Though we must delve into the three pillars of Torah study, prayer and good deeds, nevertheless both cannot compare to Torah study, which the obligation is constant (whenever we have a spare moment.)

The goal of conquering Israel is not to (be a land like all others) divorced of Judaism, but it’s transformation into a Holy Land!

We must travel through life, like the Jews in the desert, that wherever they camped even for a day, they set up camp, including the Holy Temple (Mishkan.) In other words, our job in life is, though we may be heading to the Messianic redemption, nonetheless, wherever we are – in fact, every moment of life – by fulfilling the Divine intent, we infuse in this microcosmic universe – which is a composite of the macro, the Divine light!
