Rebbe’s Naïve?!

Were the Rebbes, Naïve? – Oh how they loved people, the Baal Shem Tov did anything for anyone, including gentiles, he even loved plants and animals; we know The Alter Rebbe (first Chabad Rebbe) left synagogue on Yom Kippur to chop wood and cook a soup for a mother who had given birth and no one was home to help her – the Mitteleh Rebbe died from an illnesses he contracted upon hearing that an only child had been taken away as a Cantonist (they would take children from five, six, for twenty five years military service, really a ruse to convert them to Christianity in Russia!) all the Rebbes, culminating in our Rebbe (Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn of Lubavitch ) selflessly gave all their time to helping people – yet they were men of such incredible intelligence that their wisdom rivals that of our greatest sages, far surpasses gentile philosophers and scientists – the Rebbe and all the Rebbes having been great scientists as well – Did they not realize people lie? – Could they not tell people are capable of cruelty? – But that’s the point! Because they were so wise, they realized that we are not lies! We are truth! We are not cruel! We are love! It is our fears that cause us to lie; our resentment over abuse that creates anger/jealousy that causes us to be cruel! – So no, they were not naïve, they in fact were the smartest people!
