Reality Version

Once upon a time there was a little boy – he grew up all alone, abandoned as a child in a forest.

A kind group of monkeys adopted him – now the monkeys had one rule – humans are bad/dangerous, in fact their very survival depended on staying away.

And so the little boy would also, stay as far away as possible.

An anthropologist discovered the little boy, but as he tried to approach him, he would run away – so he realized the dilemma – the next time he saw the little boy he threw him a banana – well monkeys like bananas – he quickly ate the banana…

This story is in truth the story of every person’s life – it is a story of social-conditioning – a story of fear and a story of trust.

Versions of reality are the most important concept to understand.

For the battle the world faces today, between the version of Islamic jihad and the western liberty, can only be understood by understanding the different reality versions!

The Islamic version of reality has always been that the world must be under Islamic control – this was the very reason it expanded from Arabia, conquering large swaths of the known world – this conquest was not only sanctioned, it was the only absolute ticket to paradise! (namely, through dying in battle) – By way of contrast, the Jewish version of reality, was God promised them only Israel, and they don’t seek to convert anyone; which is why, for the thousand + years the Jews were in Israel – including the current Israeli country – they never sought expansion, domination, religious conversion etc. – But getting back to the Islamic doctrine, a fundamental problem occurred – the first, was the power of their “enemies,” it is no secret that the Arabs started three stated wars of God-forbid annihilation against Israel – only after all three failed (48, 67, 73) did they decide on a diplomatic war (though the original intent never left them – the proof is, the Saudi peace-plan which was the stated goal of the entire Arab peace deal, was to return the “refugees” of the 48’ war back into Israel! – that’s right, not into the newly create Palestinian land, rather the Israeli land! with the obvious result, that the millions of Arabs would vote out the Jewish state – diplomatic war! (this is why Bibi insisted as a deal, that the Arabs should recognize the Jewish state and why all 22 Arab league members refused.)) The second obvious problem is that in a world of MAD (mutually assured destruction) how do you take over another country? – It is literally impossible – the Soviet Union, with its awesome firepower was hopeless – It is for this reason that the jihadists (which number anywhere between 100,000,000 to 700,000,000 that’s a full ten percent of the world) have simply redefined their highest calling, away from actual conquering, to killing! –in this new definition (not for conquering) but for killing (of-course you need to blow yourself up, for that is the only way to get into heaven according to the Jihad’s law) you will get to heaven – obviously the more Christians, Jews even the horrible other kind of Muslim killed, the more heaven you get.

On the flip side is the liberty based democratic western countries – in their reality version, all people should be free.

Of-course the question becomes, what to do when realities collide?! – Do you take (as the west did in world war 2) a wait and see (maybe the 1,400 Islamic tradition will change?)

Understanding this simple truth – we all occupy different reality-versions and only by understanding them, are we possibly equipped.
