Reality according to Chassidus

Judaism is a fascinating religion, for all religions are philosophy, but Judaism is divided into two:
The first half is its prescription / diet for leading a moral life;
The second is its philosophy.
Most religious Jews are not aware of the philosophy, only the diet of Judaism.
But what is the philosophy, the soul of Judaism?
This is the province of Kabbalah and Chassidus.
And fundamentally it boils down to a simple psychological phenomena:
We love what we choose.
Sure, you may like ice cream, but if I force you to eat it, you won’t like it.
On the other hand, if you choose to eat it, the very choice itself, causes a pleasure in what you do!
Now if we bear this simple fact in mind…
It well explains everything!
For the first and perhaps key reality that we all have or will experience (which has literally happened to hundreds of millions if not billions of people in our lifetime) is that God orchestrated a reality in which quite amazingly his presence is not apparent – we live in a delusion, as Einstein said “reality is an illusion, albeit a very persistent one” – we think the physical world which we bump up against, see, feel, touch etc. is real…
This delusion gives us the space in which we can objectively seek truth!
When we discover God, then the stage has been set for a loving relationship with infinity!
