real psychology (based on Jewish mysticism) when we feel great we are open – we simultaneously desire all our desires, so we are a bit like a headless chicken – this is very much seen in adhd (basically running towards attraction) when we are feeling miserable we become jealous – we(if we don’t have hope hence believe we will always be_) begin to become malicious (this is why there is evil – it is miserable people, who similar to as Freud, when asked to explain antisemitism said, “miserable bastards” -for when a person is miserable (if they have an ego which most do) they then terrorize) – so there must be a third state (for if happiness makes us addictive and misery sadistic..) and this is the Kabbalah’s advice: be mainly happy but somewhat miserable
