Rabbi Yehoshofot Oliver a fellow Chassidisheh blogger has made the point, that we need to examine and improve, in light of the freaky Divine orchestration that our sister Mira Sharf, a Shlucha in India, was murdered by Arab terrorists exactly four years to the date!

The question he left open, is what is it that we need to improve?!
It is the following in my humble opinion:
When we think of the tragedy of a mother leaving behind children, it should wake us up, as no other call, possibly could; as the Rebbe said, there is no greater mesirus nefesh than a mother allowing another to raise her own children, which is greater sacrifice than giving up her own life!
But thank God, many of us have children; are we caring for them as the apple of our eyes!?
Do we thank Hashem for this opportunity to raise our children?!
If there ever was a challenge, it is to raise our children in the Chassidisheh way!
In this weeks Parshah, the Rebbe asks the question, why should Yaakovs life be about his building a family outside of Israel, and not about his life inside Israel? However, the Rebbe answers, the purpose of life is not to live in a holy environment secluded from the world, rather to bring up in charan, in the most debased of all locations, and perhaps closer to home, the most debased of all times, chassidisheh children!
How does one do this, by realizing that this is our mission, and we obviously have the fortitude, the wisdom, the courage, and the ability to do so; if this is what is called from us!
