Rabbi Yehoishua Ben Levi says "See how great humility is to G-d for when the Beis Hamikdash was here a person offers a sacrifice and he has a reward for it – each sacrifice individually, but a person who is humble G-d considers it as if He offered all the sacrifices in the world! As it says "the sacrifice to G-d is a humble spirit" and furthermore, his prayers will be answered.
