Basi ligani 5751

When God made the world his main presence was not in heaven but on earth (particularly the Garden of Eden).

When man sinned this caused the presence of God to remove from this world, and at the giving of the Torah it returned.

Because we are in the seventh generation (from the Alter Rebbe) and we know all sevenths are unique – imbued with extraordinary potential – hence it is our job like Moshe did to bring back the Shechina.

The entire purpose of creation – our world! ( not heaven but earth.)

Just as in one home a person lets his hair down – is himself – similarly is God’s desire.

Our purpose in life is to take our passion and instead of using it for selfish aims, use it for selfless.

God feels at home when we transform our selfish passions to selfless.

We must be like Abraham who sought not anything but to fulfilled the Divine intent; namely to give up one’s self interest.

Our generation was given the unique Divine potential to cause the Shechina – the marriage between God and man, wherein, united in such an infinitely personal and simply real union, like an old married couple, they innately realize one another’s every nuanced expression.

Hayoisheves Baganim 5751

When we study Torah in Synagogue God, his angels and souls come to listen.

The purpose of the descent of the soul of light into the body of darkness is it is the very darkness that causes one to seek and choose light – this is similar to the statement that Pharaoh God’s tool bringing Jews closer

When a Jew has an absolute conviction beyond considerations (as we do for personal matters as see them as imperatives) for Torah study and mitzvah performance, one merges the Divine into one’s being.

Basi ligani 5713

Tzaddikim bring the Divine presence into the world by first doing the Divine manifestations personally which filters to thier generation.

To manifest the Divine presence we need to transform our desire for lust (pornographery) selfish aggrandizement toward exclusive Divine values.

In truth it makes no sense for a Jew to defy the will of God.

A Jew’s soul is literally sourced in God hence innately he can never defy God

The only time a Jew goes against God is when he foolishly assumes that this sin doesn’t “matter.”

The cause of our soul’s darkness ( insensitivity to all that is good and holy) is as the soul finds itself in the body – and the body like any animal is naturally attracted and becomes addicted to pleasure and as we know in addictions the desire, like two wrestlers, overpoweres the soul.

Whenever we are challenged between a negative to positive emotion especially if one already indulged (hence become addicted) then we must make an arduous effort.

Lichah Doidi 5714

The connection between a man and a woman is what is soul (emotionally) called giver / receiver (perceptually higher / lower).

In all giver receiver relationships there is a twofold mechanisim from general to personal (/intimate) namely first the giver through general banter elevates the receiver (to feel comfortable with the giver) then the giver can give.

Only when a receiver feels comfortable with a giver can the giver achieve romance/intimacy.

Only through intimacy does the receiver feel great.

In the giver / receiver dynamic though (perceptually) the giver is higher nonetheless based on soul root the receiver is – hence when the giver cuases joy to the receiver then the giver receives from thier lofty soul root.

Mayim Rabim 5717

There is a fundemental misconception regarding God for many people seem to think that God cares only about big things becuase they imagine that creation is a hierarchy, so the CEO is concerned only with the “big stuff” but in point of fact Creation is Yesh-Meyain, like an imagination, so when you imagine, the small thing and the big thing are no more or less, so in point of fact God constantly sees all.

To not realize that everything that occurs does so only by the will of God, so though the sun shines, the moon waxes and wanes, flowers bloom, people think, nothing occurs without a higher intent.

Though some things occur in natural means nonetheless this does not mean that this occurs without the Divine intent (in other words though we are not privy to the purpose only to the effect doesn’t mean this was not.)

When we do physical mechanisms we must be aware that the intent is for Divine.

There are 600,000 X 600,000 explanations both in the revealed and esoteric explanation of every Torah verse (in the parades – this reflects the 600,000 root souls that have 600,000 sparks).

To begin with we must know the “simple” explanation as it states “all verses have at their core thier direct meaning.”
