Purim is about masks

By zevi770 · March 17, 2014

We wear a mask to show that the face we see, is not the face that is

This Shabbos I was privileged to hear a speech by my brother, who said, that two parallel universes simultaneously occur.

The one is the mask.

The mask is the world you have learnt from childhood.

Time, space, soul, your perceptions.

The other is the truth.

The truth was revealed by the holy Baal Shem Tov.

In truth, it is infinite, so even what we do perceive of it, is only parts; but as it states (as the Baal Shem Tov himself taught) “when you understand even part of something which represents the whole, you actually get the whole in the part.”

Fundamentally the Baal Shem Tov believed, that God didn’t die when he made the world!

Many simple conclusions come from this:

First and foremost, the world is continually being recreated – as proven scientifically, spoken about in Kabbalah, that all the energy emanates from the Creator, in a flash, then returns back into him, like heartbeats, like breaths!

Secondly, everything that is created, is purposeful!

One of the purposes is so we can fulfill the primary purpose of our existence, continual growth!

One of the mechanism we achieve continual growth is through listening to God’s whispers.

Each and every event you experience, everything that catches your heart, even your sight, even what you randomly hear and sometimes even what you randomly think, is not an accident, though it looks coincidental – it is in fact, one of God’s whispers, as Einstein said, “God is subtle, but not malicious!” – to shout would be to abrogate your freedom of choice; but to whisper a truth ever so subtly, through the feelings, through the visional stimulation, our auditory wavelength, and even within your own thoughts – often unaware as we are, that we have stumbled into the infinite God frequency – is to ever learn more from the infinite soup of knowledge, God, like a loving mother, is ready to serve us – so effectively, when the student is ready, the master who was in truth always there, APPEARS!
