Pride Vs. Humility

The greatest war that exists, is the war which we are not even aware of, it is a subterranean subconscious war between the satan and God; ultimately, we believe the satan is made for our benefit, as God made everything; so it manifests in a way we can understand, the war between ego / pride, and humility / submission to God; and the two are mutually exclusive; for if one is filled with pride, God says “I and he are not one,” but if one is filled with humility / submission to God than there is actually in a sense no distinction, as the Baal Shem Tov says, the simplicity/humility of a simple/humble Jew is the essence of God himself!
