Practical Advice from Judaism/Jewish Mysticism

1. Our thoughts create reality – so always see the good in life, for the good in life to see you!
2. The thoughts we have are comprised of words, so simply use positive words such as “thank-you God” – thinking positively about people and things, to create “seeing the good in life.”
3. Just as positive thinking has tremendous power, so to, does negative! So, to the extent possible, whenever you see yourself thinking negatively about someone or something, switch the subject in your mind – so even if you don’t come to terms, the very fact you turn your radio station / TV channel away from the negative to the positive, creates of course, that the negative doesn’t manifest into reality, and of course as you are thinking positive, the positive does!!!
4. One of the greatest sources of positive thinking is ein oid milvadio – “all really is God!” (for all is energy and energy is God concealed.)
5. The goal of life is unity! and unity comes, from loving, which comes from identifying, either though realizing we are all humans charged with the same mission of making the world a better place from the same Creator; or primarily, as Jews, realizing, we are but a single soul in different bodies! (As God is one, so to, our soul being God is merely like light, in from the sun, filling many different homes from the same source.) Or, by trying to see what is admirable in others, hence the admiration leads to adoration, which is a form of love and love leads to the desire to unite with another!
6. Two things eliminate love, hence need to be eliminated! The first is worrying, for when you are in a state of worry you cannot be in a state of love! So remember, God is good and all comes from God, so either it is already good, or in a later date you will see how it was for your good! Also, don’t worry if you are perfect in God’s eyes, because no man is perfect, so God seeks humans who grow, which includes falling (for you can’t step up, if you can’t step down!) So guilt comes from the Yetzer Hara (a negative demon implanted in our thoughts to disturb our growth, ultimately, for, the challenge of conquering it, helps our growth!)
7. Additionally, ego is the source of all wars, evil, for the egotistical person cannot stand anyone else’s superiority (“mirror mirror on the wall whose the FAIREST one of all?!”) hence, a person must realize that ego is actually caused by low self-esteem, for people who have healthy self-love, don’t need to aggrandize themselves; much as people whose hands don’t hurt, don’t always think about their hands!
