Perhaps the following is the truth – we know as Kabbalah teaches, we are controlled by the desires: mind, heart, liver/ego – mind is the desire of things to make sense – heart is the desire to feel pleasure and not feel pain, but what the heck is ego? – ego is the desire for our name, our love/s (so we love our name, as our name is ourself) to become the consciousness of everyone! (this is why conversely, when a person is depressed – they are upset/shamed at themselves, they seek not for their name to be spread) This is a amazing Revelation, for it explains so much – for example, why do so many people wish to teach everyone their philosophies (religions etc.) for either they identify with it (usually if they were brought up in it, so it becomes who they are; and as they love themselves they wish for this to be THE consciousness) Conversely, it could be like a person who makes a discovery, so it’s not the identity rather truly something they are passionate about – The ramifications of this is revealing, for now we can subdivide between the various forms of ego desires: for example, why do Muslims and Christians proselytize – well, to increase their consciousness – However there is a fundamental difference a. between those who proselytize through kindness and those who are terrorists, for the former are acting out of love, the latter obviously not, rather, they are simply evil (which in fact is jealous of love and the desire to destroy it) b. there is also a difference between someone who is proselytizing out of identity and someone out of conviction, for the former fundamentally sees his identity as better; the latter sees you parallel – Ultimately tis all a joke – because there isn’t a single consciousness, there is a single source of ALL CONSCIOUSNESS (not to mention, that this source will continually update, redefine, to the extent of disavowing our old consciousness for new insights!)
