Perek Lamed Beis, in other words

In other words, the Alter Rebbe is teaching us a few principles:
Principle # 1: if you don’t see your soul as being the primary part of who you are, for example, people often dissociate with themselves, and create false (chitzoinious) identities, because they believe their essence is bad (usually through unwarranted shame etc.) hence, if they start becoming into flash, then they cannot appreciate another person, and even when they do try to befriend another, it’s only another, who has the flash they wish; so it’s not real love, because, once that person loses their flash, they lose interest in them, for they never really loved the person’s soul, only their flash!
2. Once we are in touch with our souls; our Divine flame, which is us; we can realize, that a fellow Jew is also this Divine flame, and hence feel a soul kinship!
3. Additionally, who knows, flames? Maybe, their flame is brighter, hence they warrant, not only kinship but also respect!
4. What about, if you see evil in another? So firstly, the Alter Rebbe teaches, you are not “the judge, jury and executioner” God-forbid; God charges you with the commandment to love and help another, and even if you can’t help them, you still fulfill the commandment to love them, just by simply befriending and being their confidant!
5. Even if they are a super-close friend, which you should try to improve, and they don’t; so instead of feeling anger or hate God forbid, feel sorry that they are so trapped in their foolishness which is literally driving them to do stupid things, but always bear in mind, A JEW IS A FLAME OF GOD AND NO MATTER THE LAYERS CONCEALING THE FLAME, THAT FLAME, THEIR TRUE ESSENCE, IS AS PURE AS GOD, AS COMPASSIONATE AS GOD HIMSELF!
