People who have been abused are not sensitive, they are hyper-hyper-hyper sensitive, as the mind naturally will seek security and hence as their experiences have made them insecure, they are always trying to avoid doing anything that might cause the abuse to reoccur – whether we like it or not, three realities are constant: the human seeks pleasure not pain; if God-forbid we had pain, we seek security over pleasure; and we remain hyper vigilant; hence pragmatically, one must be very sensitive – especially towards women!
