| Reading the names of books of Torah | The Shalah writes (a Kabbalist) everyone should create a table in which he should write all the names of the books in the written and oral Torah – the fives books of Mosses… the names of every Parsha, the names of the Prophets, the names of the six orders of the Mishnah and the names of all the Mesachtahs, the names of the books of Medrashim etc. – one should read these names and be familiar with them, for even one who isn’t ignorant, nonetheless, very few know all these books, and by reading these names, it will be considered as is you learnt them.

| Parshah Toildois | Parshah Toildois coming after the birth of Yitzchok from holy seed – namely after his father’s bris – is the first Parshah in which the preparation for Matan Torah affects everything within it.

| The Jewish People | It says in Tana Dvei Eliyahu, two things preceded the world (i.e. God desired these two things, and the world is merely for them) Torah and the Jewish people, however which one precedes the other? Hence, as the Torah speaks to the Jewish people, we realize that the Jewish people are the prime cause.

| God and the Jews | God and the Jews – God chose the Jew, but as this relates to God, hence the Jews greatness is revealed precisely by doing God’s will of Torah and Mitzvos, goodness and compassion.

| God’s Essence | The uniqueness of God’s essence, which is so beyond everything, that light and darkness are like one to it, is: as it is infinite, specifically through breaking the infinite boundary concealing it; primarily as it gets revealed within the Jewish people, this demonstrates its true infinity; that it is not even limited to being infinitely beyond our reality, as it can also be revealed within!

| Growth | Through a souls descent, it gains the unique and incredible ascent of being a grower (i.e. specifically through the descent and hence the infinite steps to ascend; the goal of God – continuous growth – occurs.)

| Rosh Chodesh | On Rosh Chodesh the revelation of a Jews Yechidah (essential soul) the spark of Moshiach within gets revealed; hence encompassing all of his activities in this light, and mainly bringing Moshiach.

| The Jewish full moon | Just as the moon gets born and in fifteen days its disc is full; so to, from Abraham to King Solomon was fifteen generations – birth to a full shining disc.

| God’s Appellations | All the appellations (wise, infinite, compassionate etc.) we say about God, are there to preclude, that in his perfection he doesn’t lack these qualities; But the ultimate knowledge of God, is, that we cannot know him at all.

| God’s existence | In truth, we cannot even say God exists; for this limits him to a category, but as we wish to of-course explain that he exists, we use this term.

| The steps of getting up

The steps of getting up:
Firstly the very awakening of a Jew is that his very self is God, we then descend to the foundation of the day; gratitude and acceptance of God’s will, through saying Modeh Ani (the first prayer as soon as we rise.) We then go through the four spiritual worlds (Atzilus, Beriah, Yetzirah, Asiyah) the descent of the soul enumerated in Alokai Neshamah and specifically the four levels of prayer, and we then descend into the world; to transform it into a dwelling for God, through acting ethically in business etc. Toildois 2 5752 |
| A Jew’s Essence | When Moshiach comes, it will be clear how Jews are one with God; but not limited to their essential soul; rather as the soul expresses itself through the five levels (Yechidah, Chayah, Neshsmah, Rauch, Nefesh) down to their very thoughts speech and actions!

| Chassidus | Chassidus brings God from concealment to revelation (as Rabbi Levi Yitzchok of Berditchev commented on reading the Tanya “amazing how such a big God, can fit into such a small book!”)

| Knowing God | When Moshiach comes every Jew will personally know God!

| Revealing Your Soul | The true revelation of Moshiach, which we must prepare by actualizing it now, is the knowledge that our soul is God himself (higher than Yechidah which is an appellation to the soul, hence not the essence of the soul.)

| Bring Moshiach | Every Jew should dedicate his life to bring Moshiach, through adding a Mitzvah (this need not be in lofty matters such as the study and dissemination of Chassidus but rather – and most importantly – in simple matters such as giving charity, connecting soul to body.)

| Moshiach Identity and Power | The revelation of the identity of Moshiach is what leads to the revelation of the power of Moshiach, through his actions – brings Jews back to Judaism, “fights” the wars of God (as the Rebbe teaches, peacefully gets gentiles to be good. etc. etc.)
