Our sages teach us, when God desired to create the world, he consulted with his angels “shall we create the world?” (this, is adding to the conversation:) “but what is the purpose of the world” asked the angels – “why my child, Man” – and so the angels with spiritual insight looked at the behavior of man and said (and this is the midrash) “but he is a liar, he is not honest” (and this is my addition) “can the God of truth, not see that he is creating falsehood?!” – “ah” said God (and according to another midrash, cast aside the notion of truth) “they are filled with kind-hearted good-deeds!!!” – and here is my explanation – You see, angels don’t identify with man; so looking without the lenses of love, they objectively see negativity; but God, is the father, and ask any parent, sure, they are aware that their kids often lie, but that bothers not those who love; they are rather proud, so very very proud of all the good they do!
