Our sages teach, that though in the generation of King Saul the children were great Torah scholars and in the generation of King Achav they worshiped idols, nonetheless, in battle, the soldiers of King Saul died, but the soldiers of Achav remained, for the former had arrogance hence lacked unity, while the latter had unity.
