Our most important error and hence realization of truth is as follows – by nature we imagine God to be aloof – for we imagine, why would someone infinitely beyond, look at something small and insignificant?! – in fact this was the novelty of the Baal Shem Tov who declared that God’s observation and dedication is to even the tiniest worm at the bottom of the ocean (currently, both from a scientific and Chassidic perspective it is this very observation and dedication that in fact creates the worm, which necessitates its existence – for example, as we now know, that reality is plugged into its Creator, hence just like a video game must continually be connected to the hard drive, it is impossible for me to even write these words without God) when the Baal Shem Tov taught this, it was a radical idea, for even within Judaism people saw God as being beyond – but if God truly is infinite, it means he is without limitation, so unlike say a ceo who obviously is not involved in the jantorial room – someone who has no limits is equally present in all places, at all times !
