Our ego – desire for supremacy is so great – that no matter what we have, we immediately assume it’s only a springboard for more – succinctly, the saying of our sages is correct, “no man dies with half their wishes fulfilled” – for no matter which half they receive, it only makes them “entitled” to the other, ad-infinitum – but God is good, when Moshiach comes, he will feed us all of our stupid wishes, planes, cars, homes, until all we desire is truth!
