Only by understanding the final result, can we actually, like a soccer player kicking the ball, know where the goal is – the final result Chassidus teaches, is God desires a home in this world; practically speaking, it means, each and every good person will shed their ego, their foolish instinctual desires, in favor of allowing internal and external Divine communication – in other words, many radio stations (as in reality) are playing simultaneously, we have “I,” we have “I want” etc. etc. When we give up those “I”s realizing both their cruelty (for all evil comes from angry egos) and their stupidity (for all our selfish desires are foolish) and instead, listen both to God’s messages that come (at least in the messianic age, as the Rambam states: every Jew will be a great prophet) and the external messages, as the Baal Shem Tov says, God is continuously giving each and every human messages, in the people they meet, the words they hear (as the Rebbe says, sometimes even in our thoughts) and in all the experiences we encounter!
